Prempro suit on <b>breast cancer</b> results in defense verdict

A federal jury in Virginia has passed Pfizer a defense verdict in a Prempro breast cancer lawsuit, say that the plaintiff was properly informed about the possible side effects Prempro, a hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

The suit was Georgia Torkie Tork, 65 in Federal Court in Alexandria, Virginia. After trial, the jury determines that you have not set, Wyeth could not adequately alert about the risk of breast cancer, and returned a verdict in favor of the drug manufacturer.

The decision is the fourth jury victory in a row for Pfizer a Prempro suit over breast cancer.
